Our Role as Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners


Florida Statutes require that the Clerk of the Circuit Court act as Ex-Officio Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners.

Records Details


Board Records staff attends, digitally records, accepts and files paperwork related to various meetings, and produces and maintains minutes of the Board of County Commission, Charter Review Board, Planning Commission and Value Adjustment Board meetings. Board Records also serves as the Clerk and Recorder for Code Enforcement hearings, and maintains custody and control of the seal for the Board of County Commissioners.

Minutes of the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners for 1999 through current are available for online access solely as a convenience to the public at large. Minutes appearing online are not to be considered official public records and should be considered a draft until approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
