Charitable Giving

Clerks CareThrough our Clerks Care program, the Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s office has a proud tradition of supporting nonprofit organizations throughout Citrus County, whether through charitable donations or volunteer time.

Denim Day Donations

The Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller's Denim Day donations program began in 2014. In return for wearing denim on Fridays, Deputy Clerks have the option of donating on a monthly basis. The contributions are donated to nonprofit organizations selected by the employees. Since its inception, the program has donated more than $30,000, in addition to food pantry, coats and school supply items to local charities.

To be eligible, organizations must:

  • be nominated by a Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller employee
