Clerk of Courts: TurboCourt makes filing forms easy
INVERNESS, FL. The Citrus County Clerk’s Office has a new service available to assist pro se litigants called TurboCourt which works similar to TurboTax. TurboCourt is an interactive program which assists the public in completing Supreme Court approved legal forms to be filed with the court. This is a do-it-yourself electronic forms service (for a fee) and does not require a lawyer.
Citrus County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Angela Vick said, “Navigating the court system without an attorney is challenging. To help those who cannot afford or choose to not have an attorney, I am thrilled to announce this new service.”
TurboCourt will be available soon at www.citrusclerk.org for Divorce, Domestic Violence (no fee), Small Claims, and Eviction Cases.
After locating the appropriate case area, a person is guided through a questionnaire, which provides explanations and answers to questions while filling out the form. Once the questionnaire has been completed, TurboCourt automatically fills out the form for you. Then, after paying a convenience fee, the form can be printed out and filed with our office.
TurboCourt fees can be paid using Visa, MasterCard or PayPal.
Note: TurboCourt fees are separate from any filing fee required by the Clerk’s Office.
