Face Covering Mandatory Requirement at Courthouse

Effective immediately, anyone entering the Citrus County courthouse building is required to wear face coverings at all times per Administrative Order A-2020-12-F.

This will be required as you enter the Courthouse, in the lobby, common areas, Jury Assembly Room (JAR), hallways, bathrooms, BOCC Board Room and courtrooms.

A face covering will be provided at no charge to those who need one. Face coverings are required for everyone entering the courthouse building, with no exceptions. Face coverings shall be worn at all times throughout the public areas of the courthouse building, including inside the courtroom.

Prior to entering the courthouse, health and safety screenings, including temperature scans, will be conducted. Anyone with a fever of 100.4 degrees or who answer yes to screening questions will not be allowed to enter the courthouse.
