Angela Vick, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, is pleased to announce and introduce “üCheck-in: Online Check-In and Appointment Scheduling”, an in-house developed customer queue management system designed to reduce both wait times and long lines. With a few clicks of a button, üCheck-in will allow customers to schedule appointments to conduct business with our office for the payment of fees or fines, requesting copies, official records, marriage licenses, and passport applications.
"Our goals are designed with the customer in mind” Clerk Angela Vick stated. “We believe this new in-house technology will give us a better ability to continue to provide exceptional customer service. It also provides a savings in taxpayer dollars as we were able to build this in-house."
“The Clerk understands that time is valuable and saving time is one of the most important aspects of customer service,” said Chief of Staff Traci Phillips. “We are dedicated to improving and enhancing the overall customer experience by providing our customers with access to innovative options that better meet their diverse needs.” The system also provides important statistics for staffing that enables the Clerk to place the right people in the right place at the right time.
While the Clerk’s office encourages customers to use the new system, it is not required. Walk-in customers are always welcome.
