1. How soon after a Board Meeting are meeting minutes available on the website?

Typically it takes up to two weeks for the minutes to be completed and approved by the Board of County Commissioners.  Audio and/or video of meetings from August 22, 2006 to the present can be found on the Meeting Portal.

2. Where can I obtain a copy of Advisory Board meeting minutes?

The minutes are done in paraphrase form and are not verbatim.  The audio and/or video of meetings from August 22, 2006 to the present are available on the Meeting Portal.

4. Where can I obtain a copy of the audio/video of a Board of County Commissioners meeting?

A copy of the audio/video of Board of County Commissioners meetings from August 22, 2006 to the present can be downloaded at no charge on the Meeting Portal, Media page.  To obtain a copy on CD, contact the Board Recorder; the cost for this service is $6.

Meetings can be viewed live by streaming from the Meeting Portal.

5. Where can I obtain copies of Board records?

1. Copies of all records (Minutes, Ordinances, Resolutions, and Contracts) can be obtained by contacting the Board Recorder; the cost for copies is $0.15 per page.
2. Minutes from August 22, 2006 to the present can be viewed and printed at no charge on the Meeting Portal.  Meeting minutes from 1999 to 2006 can be found on the Clerk’s website.
3. The County Code (Ordinance No. 1997-05) and Amendments can be viewed on the Municode website. 
4. The Comprehensive Plan (Ordinance No. 1989-04), as well as a listing of Amendments, and the Land Development Code (Ordinance No. 2012-06) can be found on the Board of County Commissioners website.

6. What do I need to do to address the Board of County Commissioners at a public meeting?

Public Speaker Forms (“Green Sheets”) are available in the meeting room lobby and at the podium at all public meetings; complete the form and hand to the Board Recorder before the meeting or when you approach to speak.

Pursuant to Ordinance Number 2017-A11, Section 1, to speak on behalf of an organization, please submit written authorization from the organization to the Board Recorder that is signed by the organization’s President or Secretary.  The authorization will be effective for one year unless amended or revoked.  A current listing of Speaker Authorizations can be found on the Meeting Portal.

7. Where can I access Emergency Orders issued by the Board of County Commissioners?
